Bruschetta Style Pork Chops

What you’ll need
INGREDIENTS
- 4 SunPork Fresh Foods Pork Chops
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 4 tomatoes, diced
- 1 red onion, finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- ⅓ cup fresh basil leaves, finely sliced
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. white balsamic vinegar
- ⅓ cup fresh basil leaves, finely sliced
- 1 fresh mozzarella ball, sliced
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Balsamic glaze, to serve
How to make it
- In a small bowl combine onion powder, garlic powder and oregano. Dust pork steak on both sides with mix and set aside.
- To make bruschetta, combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, olive oil and vinegar and toss to mix.
- In a fry-pan or on a grill, cook pork chops using the 6-2-2 method, 6 mins on one side, flip and cook for 2 mins, remove from pan and rest for 2 mins.
- Place a slice of fresh mozzarella on top of each steak while resting.
- Top with bruschetta and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Serve and enjoy!
