What you’ll need
INGREDIENTS
- 500g SunPork Fresh Foods Pork Mince
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 fennel bulb, chopped & fronds retained
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. fresh sage, chopped
- 1 tsp. cumin
How to make it
- Pre-heat fan forced oven to 180⁰C.
- In a large, oiled fry-pan, fry onion and fennel until softened, then add garlic and apple and cook until browned.
- Remove from the heat and add to a bowl with mince, breadcrumbs, egg, sage and cumin, then mix to combine.
- Place mince mixture into a greased baking dish, pressing flat, then place into the oven for 20 mins.
- Remove from the oven and allow to rest for at least 10 mins.
- Slice and garnish with fennel fronds.
- Serve and enjoy!
