Golden Gem Bacon Skewers
One for this kids, or even just the big kids at heart, this fun snack is perfect for the weekend or entertaining the hungry little ones invading your home this month.

What you’ll need
INGREDIENTS
- 4 rashers SunPork Fresh Foods Bacon
- 1 pack frozen potato gems
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 150g sour cream
How to make it
- Pre-heat fan forced oven to 200⁰C.
- In a fry-pan over med-high heat, cook bacon for 5 mins or until desired crispiness. Remove from pan and place on paper towel. Chop into 1cm pieces.
- Cook potato gems according to pack instructions, and allow to cool until safe to handle.
- Skewer gems and place onto a lined baking tray, sprinkle with cheese, bacon and half the shallots, then bake for 5 mins.
- Remove from the oven, place on a serving platter with sour cream and garnish with remaining shallots.
- Serve and enjoy!
