Schnitty Pork Pie
This has to be one of our favourite unions: pork schnitzel and the humble pie. Made with rich mushroom gravy and crispy pastry - we can't get enough.

What you’ll need
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack SunPork Fresh Foods Pork Schnitzels with Parmesan Crumb
- 1 brown onion, sliced
- 150g button mushrooms, quartered
- 150ml liquid beef stock
- 2 Tbsp. corn flour
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 4 sheets puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten

How to make it
- Cook schnitzel according to pack instructions and cut into pieces the size of the pie maker.
- In a fry-pan over med heat, sweat onions until softened, then add mushrooms and cook until they start to brown.
- Add stock to the pan and simmer. Whisk corn flour and water together until smooth, then stir in to the pan and allow to thicken.
- Use pastry cutter to cut out 8 larger and 8 smaller sized discs for the pie maker.
- Place larger pastry disc on the bottom, then add a spoonful of mushroom gravy, pork schnitzel and top with a smaller pastry disc.
- Repeat until all pie slots are filled, brush with egg wash, then close the pie maker lid and cook for approx. 8-10 mins.
- Serve and enjoy!
