What you’ll need

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 SunPork Fresh Foods Bacon Rashers
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 30ml brandy
  • 60ml advocaat liqueur
  • 15ml chartreuse liqueur (substitutes Jagermeister / Grand Marnier)
  • 8 drops chocolate bitters
  • 1 Cadbury Crème egg, to serve

How to make it

  1. Pre-heat fan forced oven to 180⁰C.
  2. On a lined baking tray, lay out bacon rashers and brush with maple syrup.
  3. Place in the oven and bake for 10 mins. Remove from the oven to cool slightly
  4. In a cocktail shaker add ice, brandy, advocaat, chartreuse and chocolate bitters.
  5. Shake and strain into a tall glass, remove ice from shaker and add liquid to shake again.
  6. Pour into a martini glass or champagne saucer.
  7. To garnish, carefully skewer the maple bacon shards, then carefully thread a creme egg onto a separate skewer.
  8. Balance the skewers on the rim of the glass to serve and enjoy!
