Swig & Swine Pulled Pork Sliders
Pulled pork is always a favourite, its so versatile and just plain tasty! These sliders were hugely popular at this years BaconFest, they always are, so we thought we would share how we do them so you can replicate these amazing morsels at home!

What you’ll need


Pulled Pork

  • 1.5 kg SunPork Fresh Foods Collar Butt
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. mustard powder
  • 1 tsp. cumin powder
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken stock


  • 3 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
  • 100g purple cabbage shredded
  • 100g green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 4 dinner rolls


How to make it

  1. Prepare the pulled pork by combining all the spices together in a bowl, then rub evenly over the collar butt. Place the collar butt into the slow cooker and pour over the chicken stock. Cook on low for 8 hours. Remove from the slow cooker, reserving the juices to one side to be used to make a sauce later if desired. Shred the pork.
  2. Prepare coleslaw by mixing, red and green cabbage, carrot, mayonnaise and apple cider vinegar.
  3. Place pulled pork into a large mixing bowl and stir through barbecue sauce.
  4. Take bread rolls, add pulled pork and coleslaw.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
