Dan Dan Noodles
This tasty Dan Dan Noodles recipe for dinner tonight! It's been tried & tested to allow you to alter the spice level so that even the kids can enjoy!

What you’ll need
- 400g SunPork pork mince
- 1/3 cup sesame oil
- 6 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 Tbsp. Chili Flakes
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Honey
- 2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. peanut butter
- 300g Hokkien noodles
- 2 1/2 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach
- 2 cups mushrooms
- 1 shallot, diced
- 4 spring onions, sliced
How to make it
- Heat fry-pan over med. heat. Add sesame oil, garlic and chili flakes. Cook until garlic is fragrant (approx. 4 mins) the remove from heat and transfer into jar. Set aside.
- Combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, vinegar, peanut butter and 1/3 cup water in a bowl.
- Heat saucepan over med. heat. Add the chicken stock and ½ of the soy sauce mixture and bring to a simmer. Stir through spinach then set aside.
- Heat fry-pan over med. heat. Add the pork mince and cook until brown. Add mushrooms and shallots and season with pepper. Add remaining soy sauce mixture and bring to a simmer until the sauce is covers and begins to caramelize the mince. Stir in 3 Tbsp. of chili oil then remove from heat.
- Cook noodles according to pack instructions.
- Divide the broth into bowls, add the noodles and top with spring onions and chili oil
