What you’ll need
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack SunPork Fresh Foods Rustic Sausages
- 100g natural yoghurt
- 100g tahini
- 100ml orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tsp. turmeric (can we get fresh turmeric)
- ½ tsp. salt
- 12 flat breads
- 1 bunch fresh mint, leave separated
- 1 small red onion, sliced
- 2 lemons, cut into wedges
- Metal skewers
How to make it
- Add yoghurt, tahini, orange juice, apple cider vinegar, honey, olive oil, garlic, turmeric and salt to a blender and blend until completely smooth, then set aside.
- Take sausage and thread long-ways onto metal skewer, carefully slice casing and remove. Gently squeeze the sausage meat to secure.
- Preheat hotplate over high heat. Brush koftas with oil and grill for approx. 10 mins, turning regularly to ensure koftas are cooked evenly.
- While koftas are cooking, toast or grill flatbreads.
- Serve with koftas with flatbread, orange turmeric tahini, fresh mint, onion and lemon wedge.
