BBQ Pineapple Pork Chops
Our BBQ Pineapple Pork Chops are ready in 30 minutes and perfect for a mid week dinner. These perfectly cooked pork chops lathered in a sweet and smokey sauce will have you licking your lips before it's even ready.




What you’ll need


  • 6 SunPork Fresh Foods Pork chops
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 400g tin pineapple rings, juice reserved
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. chipotle
  • 1 Tbsp. raspberry jam
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • 1 jalapeno, sliced
  • 3 cups steamed rice, to serve

How to make it

  1. Pre-heat fan forced oven to 180⁰C.
  2. Heat oil in a large fry-pan over med. heat, then cook pork chops for 3 mins on each side until nicely browned. Remove from the pan and place into a casserole dish or oven safe fry-pan.
  3. Add half the reserved pineapple juice to the same pan and use a spatula to scrape off the caramelised pork pieces.
  4. Add barbecue sauce, chipotle and raspberry jam, then cook 7 mins until sauce begins to thicken.
  5. Spoon sauce over each pork chop, add pineapple rings and place casserole dish into the oven for approx. 5-10mins or until pineapple rings start to caramelize and the pork is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with spring onion and jalapenos.
  7. Serve with steamed rice and enjoy!
