SunPork Fresh Foods Slow Cooked Pork Belly

100% New Zealand gown Pork Belly slow cooked until tender, ready to crackle in just 30 mins! Serve as a roast or cube up and add to salads, wraps or tacos.

1. Preheat oven to 240°C.

2. Remove packaging.

3. Dry off the rind with paper towel and rub with 2 tsp. of oil and 1 tsp. of salt into the rind.

4. Place on a lined oven tray rind side up and place in the oven for 30 mins or until the desired crackling has been achieved.

5. Allow to stand for 5 mins before carving.

Heat times are a guide only and may vary depending on your appliance.

 

TIP: If desired crackling does not appear, here are some ways to encourage it:

Turn grill to HIGH and place Pork Belly rind side up to heat – watch and remove from heat when desired crackling appears.

OR

Heat a little oil in a frypan, place Pork Belly rind side down into hot oil for 5 – 10 mins – watch and remove when desired crackling appears.

Storage instructions
Keep refrigerated.  Store at 0-5°C. This product is intended to be heated prior to consumption. Suitable for freezing. Thaw below 5°C.
