How to make it

  1. Slice pork loin into steaks, then butterfly each piece. Cover in cling wrap and beat with a mallet to flatten.
  2. Place pork into a large bowl, sprinkle with marinade ingredients and massage into pork. Marinate for 10-15 mins.
  3. Place eggs in one bowl, then combine potato starch, cornstarch and baking powder in a separate bowl and place the breadcrumbs in another.
  4. Cover pork with flour mix and firmly press into meat. Dip pork pieces into the egg wash followed by the breadcrumbs.
  5. Rest for 5 mins.
  6. Combine all seasoning mix ingredients together in a small bowl and set aside.
  7. In a large deep fry-pan, fill with 3-4 cm oil and heat over med-high. Fry each side for 5-10 mins, turning regularly. Remove from oil and drain.
  8. Sprinkle with seasoning mix while still hot.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
