How to make it

  1. Season pork steaks with salt and pepper. Cook in pan over med – high heat for 6 mins on one side then 2 mins. Add 3 Tbsp. butter into pan with garlic and baste while cooking. Remove from pan and rest for 2 mins.
  2. In the same pan add 1 Tbsp. butter and mushrooms and cook over med heat for 5 mins. Set aside for later.
  3. Using the same pan add last Tbsp. butter until it melts, then add flour. Cook for 1 min over med heat. Add whiskey while over heat, then add stock and cream and simmer for 2 mins.
  4. Return pork steaks and mushrooms back to the pan. Spoon sauce over the top of the pork and mushrooms.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

Tip: Lactose-free? Try Almond milk or coconut milk as an alternative to the cream!
