What you’ll need
INGREDIENTS
500g SunPork Fresh Foods pork loin, cut into 3cm strips
1 Tbsp. peanut oil
3 cm piece ginger, minced
3 red chilli, diced
30g chives, roughly chopped
400g frozen green beans
450g rice, cooked
Marinade
¼ tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dark soy sauce
1 tsp. light soy sauce
2 tsp. Shao Xing cooking wine
2 tsp. cornstarch
Sauce
1 Tbsp. water
2 tsp. light soy sauce
½ tsp. Chinese black vinegar
½ tsp. chicken stock powder
½ tsp. sugar
How to make it
In a bowl, combine pork and all the marinade ingredients then mix until well combined. Add cornstarch and mix again. Set aside to marinate for at least 15 mins.
Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Heat peanut oil in a pan or wok over a med-high heat. Add the pork and cook undisturbed for 30 secs. Toss the pork before adding the ginger, chilli, chives and green beans, then continue cooking for 2 mins.
Pour the sauce into the pan and stir until everything is well coated. Cook for 5 mins until the sauce has reduced slightly.
