What you’ll need
INGREDIENTS
6 rashers SunPork Fresh Foods Bacon, chopped into thin strips
150ml barbecue sauce
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 dozen oysters, shucked in shell
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 lemon, cut into wedges
1 sprig parsley, to garnish
Rock salt, to garnish
How to make it
Pre-heat fan forced oven to 200⁰C.
In a fry-pan over med. heat cook bacon until just starting to crisp.
In a bowl, combine bacon, barbecue, and Worcestershire sauces and season with salt and pepper.
Place oysters on a baking tray, use foil scrunched into shape to help balance oysters if needed.
Spoon Kilpatrick mixture evenly onto the oysters and bake in the oven for 5-10 mins.
Serve in the shell on top of rock salt, garnish with fresh lemon and parsley.
