What you’ll need

  1. 1 SunPork German Style Pork Knuckle
  2. 1 bag waffle cut fries
  3. 3 Tbsp. Butter
  4. 1 Tbsp. flour
  5. ¼ cup beer
  6. ½ cup milk
  7. ¼ cup Cheddar cheese
  8. Salt & Pepper to season
  9. 1 spring onion, thinly sliced

How to make it

  1. Cook German style pork knuckle as per pack instructions.
  2. Cook waffle fries as per pack instructions.
  3. Heat a medium frypan over medium heat. Melt butter in frypan until it starts to bubble.
  4. Add flour to butter and cook off in frypan for a minimum of 2 mins. Gradually whisk in beer and milk.
  5. Remove from heat and whisk in cheddar cheese. Season sauce with salt and pepper.
  6. Remove knuckle from over and chop into pieces. Combine knuckle and fries into a serving bowl.
  7. Top fries with cheesy beer sauce and spring onions.
