SunPork Fresh Foods NZ Slow Cooked Pork Belly
- Preheat oven to 240°C (fan forced and conventional). Remove packaging.
- Dry off rind with paper towel and rub 2 tsp. of oil and 1 tsp. of salt into the rind.
- Place on a lined oven tray rind side up and place in oven for 30 mins or until the desired crackling has been achieved.
- Allow to stand for 5 mins before carving.
TIP: If desired crackling does not appear, here are some ways to encourage it:
Turn grill to HIGH and place Pork Belly rind side up to heat – watch and remove from heat when desired crackling appears.
Heat a little oil in a frypan, place Pork Belly rind side down into hot oil for 5 – 10 mins – watch and remove when desired crackling appears.
